Toyota Wins Awards for Commitment to Minority Supplier Development
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. was presented several awards locally and nationally for the company’s continued support and commitment to minority supplier development. These awards include the 2011National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) “Corporation of the Year,” the 2011 South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (SCOMSDC) “Corporation of the Year,” and the 2011 SCOMSDC “Advocate of the Year.”
Cintas Wins "Class II Corporation of the Year" Award
The South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (SCOMSDC) 2011 Class II “Corporation of the Year” award was presented to the Cintas Corporation. Pamela Coleman- Brailsford, Cintas Senior Director of Supplier Diversity and Sustainability, accepted the award at the SCOMSDC Annual Awards Gala and Silent Auction on November 11, 2011. Also in attendance for the celebratory occasion was Cintas President and Chief Operating Officer, J. Phillip Holloman.
Cheryl Smith of the University of Cincinnati Wins SCOMSDC 2011 Buyer of the Year Award
The South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (SCOMSDC) 2011 “Buyer of the Year” award was presented to Cheryl Smith, University of Cincinnati Director of the Office of Supplier Diversity. Cheryl Smith was honored at the SCOMSDC Annual Awards Gala and Silent Auction on November 11, 2011 for her instrumental role in purchasing activity and substantial contracts negotiated directly with minority business enterprises (MBEs).
SHI International Corporation Wins “Class IV MBE of the Year” Award
The South Central Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council (SCOMSDC) 2011 “Class IV MBE of the Year” award was presented to the SHI International Corporation (SHI). SHI accepted the award at the SCOMSDC Annual Awards Gala and Silent Auction on November 11, 2011.
